How do I get at the code?
I want to see all the stuff people are discovering for myself! Do I have to use 7zip or can I use WinRar?

Neither. Both programs are made for opening and extracting .zip files, not viewing the code. As for uncovering the code, I believe you look in your %localappdata%.

No, not at all. %localappdata% has the saved game data. That has absolutely nothing to do with the game's code.

Opening in something like 7-Zip lets you browse the game's assets. To look at the code you'd have to decompile it (which would give you an incomprehensible mess because compilers do all kinds of funky stuff to optimize and whatnot that makes decompiled code look nothing like the original source).

The game's 'code' is in fact in the same thing you open with 7-Zip. 7-Zip is just able to see the archived data inside the same file.
