Sans is... a human? (theory)

This is just a theory I came across within the fandom and I think it's a pretty interesting concept. After all, we never really do see Sans' mouth move like Papyrus' when he talks- which could mean he's wearing a mask of some sort. There's also the fact that during your genocide run battle against Sans, he bleeds and seems to cough up blood- which would require him to have lungs, a throat, etc.
I'm curious to know if any of you have seen that idea before and want to add to it. My theory is that he might've been a kid that went trick-or-treating in a skeleton costume, falling down from the mountain after he was dared to climb it, maybe Papyrus took him in because he was the only other apparent skeleton around and didn't Sans to be all alone.

Nah, there's a few easy reasons why Sans isn't a human

1. The "blood" is probably ketchup, since killing sans with ANY weapon creates that gash on his chest (even the Toy Gun). Guns dont make slash wounds. Plus, Sans is know to drink ketchup.
   
2. After his fight, you can clearly hear the monster death sound, in addition to gaining Execution Points.
   
3. Sans is extremely skeleton like, especially his attacks. Any of the humans in the game have slits for eyes instead of floating pupils, further serparating Sans from humans.

why ketchup? you forgot something,we are in the combat HUD,so only the determination is red (like frisk's attacks and his heart,filled with determination) if it was ketchup,it would be in black or white like every others thing.we don't know where is this from but we can think of alphys or just sans's determination of revenge for his dead brother,but we can be sure it's not ketchup or blood

Just want to note that the kill count does not go up after "killing" Sans in the Genocide run. Perhaps, if Sans is able to do all of this manipulation with the Time Space Continuum, lets say he is able to fake his own death. What if Sans wasn't actually mortally wounded in the first place? Execution Points are just the ability to distance yourself from others and kill more easily, so just knowing that you killed him would cause your EXP to go up even if he didn't actually die. Going back to MatPat's theory about Sans and Ness, if using the machine destroyed organic matter, but perhaps he survived it with most of his body, his soul might of been changed somehow in the accident. What if it didn't technically count as a human soul, and was rendered useless to Asriel, and not absorbed? Yes, this is literally a first draft thing and certainly has flaws in it, but with some research perhaps that can be changed.

Because Toby is a lazy dude that didn't put any effort into this game.

Undertale was rushed and had no love put into it, that's clearly obvious from the horribly done pixel art, and the plot holes in almost everything. We all, including me before, used to think that there was more to the story, but there isn't. Gaster was a simple way to get people's attention for a while longer before Toby completely disappeared and ran away with our money.

So I'm sorry, I really am, you've wasted your time trying to figure this out and I'm deeply sorry for that, I did too, as you can see from my long theory up above.

But don't bother anymore, because everything that even lead to people thinking Sans could be human in the first place was Toby's mistakes when making the game, and all the massive plotholes.

There is no secret at the far corners of this game, there's just a pile of disappointment.

While i see where you're getting at, UNDERTALE took nearly 3 years to finish and the pixel art was intentional art style (Which you would've known if you researched it.). The game had much love put into it in fact as the whole theme of the game is to be merciful.

Oh hey it's alive again, sorry for my previous posts, I was a bit of a mess back then personality wise.

While I still think undertale isn't the best, it did have love put into it and its story, which I appreciate and I actually really like the game now. However its story still disappointments me because there are quite a number of holes, though I think that's probably just because Toby didn't expect this game to blow up this hard so he didn't think every little thing through like people here tend to do.

Also I do really love pixel art, ignore what I said in my other posts.
