How does Frisk cross the barrier in a neutral run?
MAJOR SPOILERS!!!!
DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT BEATEN THE GAME!!!!

How does Frisk cross the barrier in a neutral run? To cross the barrier both a monster soul and a human soul are needed. Flowey killed Asgore and Frisk could not have taken his soul because we see it destroyed by Flowey's last pellet before either Frisk or Flowey can do anything. Also, Flowey has no soul, so Frisk taking his soul is not an option. A human cannot consume another human soul, so Frisk taking the other 6 is out of the question. The possiblility of Frisk taking another monsters soul before crossing the barrier is a possibility but highly unlikely, as when a monster dies, we dont see their soul fade away. Or we could have ourselves a plothole! Tell me what you think in the comments about how Frisk escapes the underground in neutral! If he does at all.

MAGIC.

My guess is that when Flowey gains the power of 6 human souls, he ends up bring Frisk across the barrier before/during/after the Photoshop Flowey fight.

It isn't that it HAS to be a human soul and a monster is needed, just the power of both.

the thing is, Flowey doesnt have a soul, no monster soul, no human soul until he gathers the 6 which are soon released

Doesn't mean he couldn't have transported Frisk during the fight.

I mean, he had a lot of SOUL power at that point.

Human souls absorb one another, only a monster and a human soul. A monster and a human soul are needed to cross the barrier, not any amount of human souls.

AT LEAST a monster and a human soul are needed to cross the barrier. Flowey can absorb 2 human souls and cross the barrier. Monster souls are much, MUCH less powerful than human souls. 1 human soul isn't enough, 2 human souls are much more than enough

It's not confirmed Frisk even crosses the barrier, since Sans and company gets to call him/her, while you can't call people outside the barrier, meaning the Cell Phone was either left behind or Frisk is still in the underground somewhere.

No, no, you are getting it all wrong, 2 human souls cannot break the barrier, 5 cant, 1 million cant, there needs to be a monster soul to break the barrier, yes they are much less powerful than human souls, but a monster soul is needed. If only 2 human souls were needed, Flowey would have crossed the barrier and killed everyone himself.

Then why did he destroy ASGOREs SOUL?

To get access to the Human Souls, to defeat you, get your soul and become God.

Flowey spent years doing 'playthroughs' with his power of accessing saves and he's done things like Genocide runs and Pacifist runs, but he never got to get to the Human souls, so why couldn't he leave after just murdering everyone?

He never got past Sans though.

How do you figure he never got past Sans? When doing a genocide run, Flowey tells Frisk/Chara that he had already done every possibility... He had played and lost every game, he had read and burnt every book, he had appeased and killed every monster (this would mean he had killed Sans already at least once, probably more than that if he really did every single possibility)

flowey gives dialogue after you reset the game, depending on where you actually reset. I believe in one of these diologues, flowey states how sans gave him his share of game overs, and he decided to avoid him entirely or something
