Bug: Movement, character moves without touching any keys

xbox 360 controller connected
it's very hard and frustrating to control the character.
It moves without touching any keys, or keeps on moving even after I let go of the key.

Use keyboard then

Undertale works terrible with a controller, a keyboard is much easier to control, especially in the battles.

maybe your controller is busted with a sticky sensor ?

Same thing happens when I use a keyboard.
But with the controller connected.

You have to turn the sensitivity in the options down. I think it has to do something with the deadzone on your controller. I noticed if I put the sensitivity all the way up, my character always moves up while not pushing anything on my controller.
