In the hotlands...

After the tricky puzzle there are two guards that want to kill me. How do i get past them?

Alright then! Clean 02's armor until it gets too hot for him, making him take it off, and ask 01 what's on his mind c:

To spare them you have to wait till the second guard's armor gets sweaty then clean it, that'll make a green thingy to appear and you must touch it five times (I think), it's armor will come off, and then tell the first guard to be honest about his feelings.
