Who's Jerry?

Some monster called Jerry popped up with an Icecap twice and took quite a bit to kill, although his literal attack was nothing other than to complain about the Wi-Fi or to ask you to drive him home. Sort of begs the question of whether he's an easter-egg or not.

No, he's just that one monster that no one ever wants to hang out with. You can actually just ditch him without killing him and there would be no consequences for it.

I always assumed he was a play on the nerd stereotype. Odd eyes, runny nose and obnoxious. Plus you don't run from him or spare him the first time, IIRC, you "Ditch" him.
