Weird ice cube wolf.

So there'res this wolf near the town who throws ice into the water, and it said no on knows where they go, and in the core, you can see the ice cubes being thrown into lava, im just pointing out how weird that is. Like why is it there.

If you witness True Pacifism, you can go back to the wolf and talk to him.

If you call papyrus or undyne (dunno who anymore) they mention that the ice cubes are needed to cool down the core, or it get's too heated.
