im planning on doing a genocide run and would like to know where to get legendary hero

Seduce Mettaton and he'll give you his Legs.
Inside his legs are the key to his garage.
In his garage is a map.
The map will lead you to an art convention meeting.
Go to the place marked on the map on Oct 12th, 8:00P.M.
a monster will run into you from behind.
