Undertale Repainted

I'm having trouble with this. I don't know if this is the right place to post this (which it probably isn't) but by the off chance that someone can help me that'd be great. I've done as the instrustions said and placed all the files in the rar folder into the Undertale steam folder and deleted the steam dll. But when I launch the game a crash report comes up saying this:

You have to have V 1.00 installed for that mod to work. The creator hasn't made plans on releasing a newer version of the mod to support V 1.001 yet.

You have to use the older version of the game. I think you have to go into properties and then click beta, and then install the mod how you normally would.

How do you find the properties?

It only works on "1.000" not on "1.001"

I don't even remember what Undertale repainted is at this point.
