Not helping Monster Kid

I was in a panic and ran away from both Undyne and Monster Kid. Was not helping the Monster Kid bad, because he said that I was just running for help. Does this ruin my Pacifist Run? I legitimately had no idea that I was supposed to help the boy.

The only 2 things that can lock you out of a Pacifist runthrough are gaining EXP or failing to give Undyne water. You can be a jerk in every other aspect and be fine.

Doesn't "ruin it" in the "get the ending" sense, but the kid will tell you to stay away from him.

If you're going to kill her, letting MK fall is always a good way to get a head start on her, since she comes back with lost health.

Thanks for telling me all of this. I was kind of bothered by the fact that one slip or choice will ruin your route. Thanks for proving me wrong. =) Felt like a giant weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

It's fine, it's commonly done in a speedrun to just leave Monster Kid in a speedrun to save time. As long as you don't kill Undyne, your Pacifist run is still good to go.
