Mouse hole theory (serious)

So, I've been thinking lately... What if the mouse holes you see throught the games are actually the results of the monsters trying to break through, to get to the outside world. I know it's unlikely that this would happen, but the monsters are always trying to escape. So if they had enough DETERMINATION, they might be able to bust a small hole through the magic barrier. To further back up this theory, mice tend to lurk through dark, tiny holes, hence the ones in the underground. And last time I checked, there are no mouse npc's/monsters in the game, so a mouse in the outside world must have found the hole.

This is the first time that I wright an actual theory, and a good one in my opinion. So, what do you guys think of the theory?

Exactly, a caterpie literally gets sliced in half by a charmeleon. I'm not gonna go on the whole japan is better rant and sound like a cheeky weeb, but cartoonists need to take a hint that kids are getting more mature and understanding more about death. I'm not saying that you need death to make a story more dense, just look at steven universe for example. Just make less filler episodes.

Blame 4kids and their extremely overprotective censorship issues. They were so protective over what the kiddies were exposed to that they went so far as to censor freakin' texts in the background of some animes (there was even an episode of pokemon where a riceball was replaced with a sub sandwich. Overboard much?).
