Undertale save files keep magically deleting.

RIGHT. I'm really pissed about this issue now.
My save files keep magically deleting, I'll just exit the game and come back on and it'll just be "enter the name of the fallen human" like I've never played before. 7 times it's magically erased my files. I've emailed Undertale support and they said this,


Some people's games like to reset a lot. Are you playing it on steam or not?


Also, to restore the file:


Place INI file here:

(user) --> appdata (hidden) --> local --> undertale

(on mac)
library-->application support-->com.tobyfox.undertale


So I looked for my files, (I'm completely hopeless with PC's by the way) and it came up under %AppData% and in the Undertale files it came up with files "0","8","9" and a file called "Undertale" all of them are empty.
i'm on a windows laptop, can I restore my game? I'VE DONE THE GENOCIDE RUN UPTO THE END 3 TIMES NOW.
Pleeeeeaaaaseeee help me restore my files, I really want to see the ending. I'm determined.

Obviously I save at every check point. I actually save atleast 10 times at each now.

Okay, just wanted to make sure since there's actually more than a few people that miss the save points.

this happens to me, too. the best i can say is do runs rather quickly, they become sort of rare after a while though.

Be sure that
1]You are exiting by ESCAPE BUTTON. Not shut down computer, not force closing through task manager, etc.
2]Your computer settings and/or antivirus aren't deleting that folder/data (don't know the details, never experienced it personally).

ok so my anti virus is deleting the save why?
