At the beginning of the game when your choosing your name there are a little bit of easter eggs.

Frisk: This name will activate hard mode.
Chara: "The True Name"
Sans: Toby wont let you choose it saying "Nope"
Toriel: Tori gives you her own message saying "I think you should choose your own name my child"
Temmie: this replies with "hOi" and allows you to have the name
This is all I have so far, unfortunately Papyrus and Mettaton's names are too long to fit in the name selection.

You can type in the name "Papyru" and you'll get the response "I'LL ALLOW IT!!!!". For Mettaton, you can type in "Mtt", "Mett", or "Metta", and you'll get the response "OOOOH!!! ARE YOU PROMOTING MY BRAND?"
