[SOLVED] Can't take ingame screenshots? (Possible fix)

Bug? Intentional?
I am smashing the screenshot button and nothing happens.

I assume bug cause there is whole Screenshots section with people being able to take and upload screenshots yet i cannot.

EDIT: Ok so i got to the bottom of this with some searching.

It was a bug and a very weird one. Deleting "steam_api.dll" from steamapps/common/undertale folder suprisingly fixed it. I can now make screenshots with F12 again.

Not sure why that worked but i ain't gonna complain.
Gonna leave this thread in case someone recently bought the game and have same issue.

I personally have never been able to take screenshots with undertale. I gotta try this!

Yea very odd solution that i was skeptical about but lol somehow it works.

Hope it works for you aswell.
Seems like its an odd conflict with Steam overlay and this games engine.

Oh, just a heads up on new discovery.

If you try to play the game offline with 'steam_api.dll' removed/renamed, the game will not recognize your key presses. You'll have to revert back 'steam_api.dll' for it to recognize key presses.

It's weird. But yeah.
