Ok....ok so i did game up to after i killed asgore, and i have killed EVERYONE so far, but i still am getting the omega flowey fight..... Is that supposed to happen?

Nope, you done goofed. You played easiest mode of game (high LV neutral).

Genocide IS possible on a first run, but is more specific than merely pretending act/mercy don't exist.

You have to grind all enemies in an area before fighting that area's boss monster. You can tell that you are on the right track once you see ,'but nobody came', when you would usually encounter an enemy, along with eerie music replacing the cheerful. And by area, I don't mean one room, but basically the entire area. But be prepared, the most powerful boss monsters appear on this route. I would suggest fighting Glyde on your first try, (the hidden mini boss)to get more exp, than you should, to get a temporary boost.

Where is glyde?

He is in snowdin forest, go to before the bridge im sure and then try to find a pathway, then go down that pathway and then go in the room that is in that secret spot and you will find ANOTHER secret room, dont try to go past the door if you havent dodged the special thanks, instead run around in that room and in 3-??? minuets he WILL show up (the ??? time depends on how many monsters you killed)

Just go into the secret room, next to where sans says, 'what is up' and where gyftrot appears. Then just walk around in there for about...5 minutes. But encounter him before the snowdin monster count drops to zero.
