There's only one butterscotch pie, and that's from the beginning.
You only have two options:
1. Get better
2. Reset
I got him LV1 with the Stick and the Locket firsty try.
If you need to, try to get Temmie Armor. It really helps with him.
In True pacifist you do it with 20 HP and Lvl 1... so what is it like with level 10?
Talking with him 3 times and healing with the pie makes the fight easy compared to what comes next. Also the stats of items themselves don´t mean much - going to the fight with torn notebook and glasses (for more invincibility) should work just fine.
With Tem armor should be even easier.
