Undertale is kind of overrated
Don't get me wrong, Undertale is a great game, but it just doesn't bring anything new to the table.... The whole 'multiple endings' shiz was used in Cave Story, and also the whole "YOU CAN KILL MAIN CHARACTERS OMGz". In Cave Story, you have the option to kill off Curly, and the rest of the inhabitants of the island. Yes, it's a great game with a great story, and yes, it should get some recognition, but GOTY? NO. Best game of all time? No. I myself enjoyed playing through the three main endings of the game, but one million enraged fanboys/girls posting one hundred pictures of Undyne hentai is NOT OK. The fanbase is getting worse than FNAF. Also, even FNAF did a whole 'secret charcter' with Golden Freddy. Why? So it would stay popular. Yet again, we see this happen with W.D. Gaster. Toby only wanted the fans to stay just a bit longer before the game was put in the honorable mentions gaming book. Along with FNAF, Stardew Valley, and all of those to come after. This is only my personal opinion, so if you're an enraged fanboy/girl, don't rage. That's the last thing I need. No salt either. :steamsalty:

//In serious-ness. Nobody really does give a ♥♥♥♥, people have their own opinions. If they think it's the best game of all time, then they're not wrong. Games are art, art is subjective. When it comes down to it, if the majority think Undertale deserves a GOTY. Then it DOES.

Wow. I just wanted to say the game was great, but a little too over-rated. I love the game, I just don't obsess over it. If one person says your favorite game is overrated, it's not the end of the world.

To tell some people who worship Toby Fox as their god as he made their favorite game to shut up because it ruins the game. A bad fanbase is not a bad game, but most people judge it that way. Take Pokemon for example. Anything that's not Pokemon is ♥♥♥♥. According to them at least. Same with Undertale. "I'm going to kill you if you crossover FNAF with Undertale!"

1. Golden Freddy was and always considered the 5th kid, nothing secret.
2. W.D. Gaster wasn't even meant to be found, only actually added into the game after fans discovered Gaster, even after months it took him that long to add Gaster in.

//I'm guessing he didn't care, he only "fixed" it when he actually added Gaster into the game, until then Gaster wasn't even really cannon.

So a few dozen ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥=the entire Undertale fanbase now? I mean, I don't see people going off on how "Toby Fox is a god" like what people did with Scott Cawthon. If you purposely look for the ♥♥♥♥ people, you're going to find the ♥♥♥♥ people. If you don't try to find them, then you're chances of finding one is lowered drastically.
