Light Blue & Orange Soul Fighting Tactics Explained!
In Undertale, Frisk, the seventh and FINAL Soul (Red) falls down from the surface into the Underground, from MT. EBOTT. They go on their quest to escape this place and get back home. While they are on their quest, Frisk encounters enemies. During some special enemy encounters, you get to play as the other SOULs! You have the privelege to play as the Blue, Green, Purple, and Yellow SOULs. But, what about the other two? You know, the Light Blue and Orange ones? Yeah, those ones. Sadly, we never got to play as them in Undertale. But, it could've been for a good reason. You know how there are the LIGHT BLUE and ORANGE attacks in, and sometimes out of battles, and how to avoid them? Yes. Now, if you need a refresher, the way to dodge the LIGHT BLUE ones are by not moving, and the ORANGE ones by moving around. The way they function, and the way you avoid them, could just lead us how to figure out how they fought in battle, while they were alive! Let's start with Orange, shall we? This one is simple. Orange's trait was BRAVERY, as we all know, meaning it went forward and fought through everything, not caring about the consequences. Which is why Frisk's SOUL must move through the ORANGE attacks. Frisk's SOUL kept moving FORWARD through the ORANGE attack! This leads me to believe the orange SOUL, while in battle, must always be moving, or else it could lead to consquences. Just like if you do not move through the ORANGE attack, you lose some HP. Do you get what I'm saying? Now to the LIGHT BLUE SOUL.Light Blue's trait is patience, which means they can tolerate waiting for something without getting impatient. Sort of how Frisk's SOUL has to WAIT for the Light Blue attack to FINISH, before it starts moving again! When attacked by a LIGHT BLUE attack, the player mustn't move, or they will lose HP. This leads me to believe that the Light Blue SOUL couldn't move at all during battle, due to it waiting until the ENEMY tires itself out, so they must've been killed by an enemy early in the RUINS, due to it not trying what-so-ever, which is why you would find their weapon and "armor" so early in the game.

And, there you have it! I know it was a huge paragraph, and I apologize for that. But, that's what happens when you get carried away, you know? I thank you for taking your time and reading it all the way through if you have, and I hope you understand and agree with me.

a thing. the owners of the human souls did not die where you find their items. toby "heavily implied" they all made it to asgore.

for example, toriel has the ruins sealed. no one could have captured and contained the light blue soul if that human died in the ruins.

Hm, that is true. Wasn't thinking about that when I wrote this. I'll make sure to give it more thought. Thanks for telling me!

Maybe the light blue SOUL simply waited for the enemies to clear out of the way before she continued, which is how she made it to King Asgore?
