This game was ruined by its fanbase

Before you say that you can avoid it, YOU CAN'T. It's literally everywhere. Even the pope owns undertale now. C'mon guys, you can do this game justice but it's destroyed by its fanbase. If you're listening, don't spoil the game. Don't make dumb fan art, and don't attack anyone who dislikes the game. Tell me what you think please.

some fan art is good. i say that and look it up and say f*ck my life. my profile imige is fan art but in my opinion its good. then there is the over characterized fan fic tha ruins lives. some of that "art" and "wrighting" should just burn (with the fnaf fandom)

How was it ruined? I bought it a month or two after release without encountering any spoilers. Beat it just fine, fell in love with it, sometimes re-watch it on YouTube, and have yet to see those armies of obnoxious fans that seem to make everyone else's life miserable.

1) it was a good call for MatPat to give the pope Undertale, in his video he explains why.
2) most of the art is pretty good to be honest.
3) sure, there are ducks out there to ruin the fun, but don't forget that there is a LOT more nice people! What would be your game without a fan base? A game sitting in the dark and getting dusty, and forgotten. So, what I'm trying to say is a fan base, good or bad, is needed for the success of said game.
