So I'm trying a pacifist run, and I'm in waterfall. I wanted to go back to buy cinnamon buns, so I backtracked. This was after dodging arrows from Undyne but I haven't fought her yet. I went to the end of the stage and there was just a plank and black around it and the yellow lizard kid was standing there, but his eyes were blank and he was all grey. He said something about how the world goes on without you but I wasn't paying attention I was too freaked out.
Seriously though?! this is some bad creepypasta stuff I don't want any part of it. Why is this an event?? is it random? I need some anxiety meds now – =͟͟͞͞ =͟͟͞͞ ﾍ( 〇Д〇)ﾉ

It's a dummied-out character regalvanizing and becoming self-aware, and reaching out through the other game assets to show itself. It's actually pretty cool! I've never found it myself.

Goner Kid is probably some kind of manifestation of Gaster.

Maybe, it reminds me of the Gaster followers, it's some evidence but not much towards who Gaster is. If we find more stuff like this, we might actually figure out who Gaster is.

Chara can jumpscare you even in pacifist? omg noo.. I tried a genocide run on my other pc and it wasn't this creepy. maybe because I was prepared lol.

Wowee, thats pretty deep. This game messes with my head, making me sympathize for a pixel skeleton and now gasty. Its hard to understand lol, so because gaster is "dead" in the game, but he stays in the files, he tries to appear in the form of other characters? this reminds me of irisu syndrome vaguely..

"Lizard Kid" "Gray Eyes" Well, "lizard kid" is actually called monster kid, and the gray version of him with no pupils is goner kid. As you can see from the name, it's meant to be creepy. And like those other guys said, it's a random event.

It's not a random event. It happens when u mess with the "fun" value in the undertale.ini
i think you put it at like 61-62. idk.
