Asgore dialogue, spoilers

Question. When playing vs asgore in my own playthrough, I talked to him, but then I watched a youtuber do the same thing and they got different dialogue. Something like "You killed me before" and he nods or something. What triggers this and what are they referring to?

Dying multiple times on his fight will trigger that.

Ah, I see, good to know and makes sense.

That "You tell Asgore that he's killed you once before." line is caused by you dying to Asgore and then talking to him in your next attempt at the fight.

If you die a lot (which I did to lower the price of Temmie Armor) it will say the number of times until 10 where you would "lose count".
