How do I not kill Asgore in a Neutral Run?

I'm doing a Neutral Run but don't want to kill Asgore. I know that in a Pacifist run you can say you don't want to fight and all that, but in the Neurtal Run you can't say any more than Asgore has killed you multiple times. How do I spare him?

P.S. I don't care about spoilers, I already know about Flowey's interruption and Omega Flowey and Asriel Dreemurr.

you cant spare him

You are forced to [FIGHT] him, but he'll drop down to a small remaining sliver of HP instead of outright killing him. Then, you'll get the chance to Spare him.

However, if you're going for the Pacifist ending you won't get it just yet. But if you didn't kill anyone, you also won't have to start over entirely with a new run.

In the neutral run you fight Asgore and when you go to 'kill' him his hip doesn't fully go down and then you have the choice to spare him or kill him
