thanks!
You still have to fight him once if you want to get the good ending. The only way to avoid fighting him would be to only do genocide runs, and the bosses on that route are much harder.

I think the only way to avoid him the 1st time around by going genocide since true pacifist requires a neutral ending

Omega Flowey is, at hardest, only the fourth to eigth hardest thing in the game from a gameplay standpoint. The top 3 hardest things are not available in neutral, and all three are FAR harder than Omega Flowey.

Omega Flowey will appear on any neutral route until you beat him once. "Restart" off of an incomplete run, a hard mode run, or a finished neutral run DOES NOT not revive him. Clearing Pacifist, clearing Genocide, or manually deleting the save data outside of the game WILL revive him.

Pacifist route is NOT finishable until you have a neutral run (i.e. Omega Flowey) clear.

So your options are
1]Deal with it
2]Don't clear Neutral OR Pacifist, thereby locking yourself out of 20+ endings.
3]Play ONLY Genocide (messing up the reqs WILL get you the Fight) and/or the unfinished Hard Mode (stops after tutoriel boss).

Oh, and neutral is BY FAR the EASIEST of the three main routes from a gameplay difficulty route.

You cannot avoid, I felt the same way as chu, but then after the battle happened, i'm totally over it. It's accually pretty epic. :steamhappy:

In contrast, it seems that you were able to avoid this discussion for over 3.5 years... ;-)
