Undertale fan made boss fight!

so i've spend alot of time on youtube and saw fan made boss fights and decided i want to make one my self. every where i looked on how to make a boss battle said to use Unitale but even though i know how to code stuff and have alot of experence in it unitale was no help as there was no tutorial on how to use it and every where on the internet there were no good tutorials.

so i decided to get Unity 3D instead but the files took to long to load and i eventuly quit installing it after about 3 hours. the same happend with game maker aswell.

so dose any one have any recomendations for a good free engine to use for making fan made boss battles?

I would've recommended Unitale, and that won't work for you. Other than that I was thinking about recommending Unity, and then I read that you tried that. Anyways, I haven't made one myself, and I'm just an amateur game designer, so far I've only made maybe 10 games that were 2D and very short, so it beats me. If you do find one, and make a fan made boss fight, you should send it to me. I would gladly play it and try to get my friends to play it too. Good luck finding a good free engine, there are many out there, so keep looking.
