How close am I to beating Sans?

I've made it as far as when he lets you spare him and then about 4 more dialogue turns after that. Am I half way? three quarters? one quarter?? Just trying to get an idea of how close I am. Thanks :)

If im not mistaken you must attack him 20 times--someone feel free to correct me on the exact number, but its about 18-20 times. Just count how many times you've attacked him and youll get an idea of how close you are.

The Spare intermission happens after the 12 attack.

The total is 23 times, 25 if you count the two attacks after the end of the fight.

I think the last couple of sentences you get are something like: "cause, you know, all this fighting is tiring me out", "if you continue then I'll be forced to use my special attack", "Sound familiar? Well after the next one, I'm gonna use it. So if you don't want to see it, now would be a good time to die", and then for the last attack before his special attack: "alright, survive THIS and I'll show you my special attack". So if a conversation line similar to that (because I probably butchered the actual lines) pops up then you only have a handful of turns left to go.

Its 12 times for the intermission. I know that much. I just have yet to beat him personally so i dont know the total number afterwards
