16/8 - Bit soundfonts creep me out

I dunno why, they just do, mostly if they're in minor key, maybr it's their unpredictability? with normal recorded music you get a buildup, but with 8 bit and 16 bit you just get some out of nowhere, this game itself just has a creepy atmosphere to me, expecially after deleting my pacifist playthrough

also "Your Best Friend" creeps me out and scares me more than "Your Best Nightmare" Because YBF is less obviously creepy, kind of calming in a way, then you learn about the character, same goes for "Sweet Little Dead Bunny" from Doom, starts out like "Yay, were all in peace!" and then switches to a bunny's head on a pike, YBN is WAY more obviously scary, the imagery is way more scary than the music though, it feels like Loud horror music is ineffective on me, but quiet, creepy horror music is terrifying to me
