how do i do a true pacifist run

I tried to do it but asgore gave me his sould anyways. What do i do to totally stop flowey also

There are steps you must do, become friendly to everyone

do not attack AT ALL (Obviously) also to totally stop flowey... look up how to get the true ending ;)

Spoils

For the pacifist ending you pretty much have to become besties with everyone without killing. You are allowed to attack as you have to for a certain persons battle (MTT) but you can't kill a single person Or the game puts you into a neutral run. The main requirements are:
-don't kill anyone
-go on the date with papyrus
-hang out with undyne and cook
-get alphys and undyne to date
--help alphys with her research

That's all I believe and then you just complete the boss battle at the end with asgore which Toriel will intervene

Use the FIGHT button on Asgore and Flowey only. It's doesn't ruin the Pacifist, it's just like that. At the end of their battles, press the MERCY button. DO NOT PRESS THE FIGHT BUTTON, BECAUSE IT GOES TO NETERUAL AT THE LAST SECOND.

Actually the use of FIGHT to "finish" Asgore, Flowey, Napstablook (ruins) , or Trainign dummy (ruins) doesn't take you off Pacifist.

"Missable" Requirements for Pacifist (failing these WILL require a reset back to ruins)
Zero EXP on the current run
Gave Undyne the Water on the current run's first visit into Hotlands

"Other" reqs (can be done wihter before OR after meeting Asgore this run, each step unlocks the next).
1]Get Papyrus phone # (date/hangout in his bedroom, NOT just the first room in his room)

2]Get Undyne phone # (if you cleared Asgore, keep an inventory slot open)

3]Get Undyne Letter (if first run*, need to clear Asgore first). Depending on your progress in game she'll be at either her house (didn't date until post-MTT) OR at Papyrus house (post MTT).

4]Bring the letter to the lab.

5]An OBVIOUS THING is hinted at. Do that before returning to Asgore. Upon starting this, the only way to mess up is to restart the game.

6]Rest of path is railroaded until epilogue. enjoy!

7](Optional, but recommended) Go all the way back to revisit friends in old areas BEFORE using the door to initiate the credits. Yes, I stayed up until 6am on Xmas morning doing this. I had to open presents at 8:30AM that day. It was worth it.

* Clearing a non-neutral ending, Deleting your save data from outside of the game, or changing computers resests you to first run status for this step.
