Why is Sans Ness

I mean if you know the backstory of the creator of undertale (Toby Fox) he used to love Earthbound so it woud likely that Toby would make a character in Undertale that takes after a character in Earthbound this case being Sans having attributes like Ness.

I don't get why people call Sans Ness.

Sans is a character in the 2016 Undertale, a high-ranking CORE official who oversaw the Determination energy research projects at the CORE Mars Base. After an unknown incident during construction of the facility's Determination Tower which caused him to develop brain cancer, he was forced to replace almost the entirety of his body with skeletons. He was first officially shown by Toby Software in the game's official launch trailer greeting the Undertale frisk after he awakens from an apparent slumber. In exclusive footage released by video card manufacturer NVIDIA to demonstrate the performance potentials of the then-new Vulkan graphics API in Toby Tech 6, he can be heard acting as an advisor to the frisk, speaking about Papyrus, to whom he is now an enemy. He states that he had hoped she would "rise above their influence," referring to the demons from Hell which she instead unleashed.

Sans is adamant in defending his original research projects into Hell and its Determination energy reserves, stating that it was all in mankind's best interest, and that the sacrifices made would have been worth the cost, if his other staff had been able to resist the corrupting influences of the demonic dimension. While he seems friendly, whether or not he can be trusted must be regarded as a question.

Sans' voice acting is performed by Darin De Paul.

Which is why Sans can't be Ness.

Sans might be Nes since Nes does travel between dimensions and across time. He is insanely tough. He understands physics, quantum mechanics, and loves sci-fi. He breaks the "wall" a lot, Nes does that too, is insanely tough, understands science. He isn't a monster as he is "new" to Snowdin and all the monsters look at him as something "different." Sans admits to this too - during the dinner date. Sans knows what the surface is (i.e. what the sun is and other monsters don't understand what "stars" are). If you go find the Easter Egg workshop you see "Sans" smiling with other folks you don't recognize. If you beat Earthbound/Mother you get an ending that shows photos of Nes and his friends smiling. Similiar to Earthbound other things -- you also find "the badge" which is probably an Earthbound thing which is probably the Franklin Badge. The last part of the Motherbound series -- Nes and his friends go through a phase distorter. Maybe Nes did it again and didn't come back. If you go south in Snowdin before the bridge you run into Sans, and then you run into Sans again as you walk toward the Toby Fox easter egg. Nes also teleports. Papyrus looks a lot like a Starmen and if you look at the design on his chest he has a Starmen icon his chest

Honestly, Matthew has been just dishing out awful theories lately. He used to be SO much better before he had over one million subscribers! So I just wouldn't even bother to watch his videos anymore, much less believe that Sans is Ness (like wtf it makes no sense).
