Is this game worth $10
Ive only seen some gampelay, the gampeplay looks bad, but the concept seems great. I want advice from people who already have the game. If it helps, i like rpgs, both western and japanses.

Definitely. Although, since the summer sale has started, it should be lower than $10. I'd say if you're on the fence about buying it, buy it when it's on sale.
Telling you too much about the whole game may ruin the experience for you, so I'd recommend you go in with next to no knowledge about it.

how is the gameplay?

Limited, but fits the narrative of the game.

As in? Is it consistent with keeping your attention? I'd say so. It's not a boring game, in my opinion. There are three different routes you can take, with one route having multiple endings.

the gameplay is pretty good, enough to keep you playing without being bored. It looks bad, but its more fun to play than to watch imo.

I'm about to start playing it, but by what I know, this game is more of story rich. Depending on what route you take though, the game does get really hard. (don't do a genocide run with cloud sync if you want to do a pacifist run on a different PC later).
As for quality, I can't say yet, that, again, depends on if you really want to experience the story, not just watch it.
If this game had really bad gameplay though, it wouldnt be as popular. Just a thought.

It was definitely worth $10 for me though try not to get too swept up by the hype (easier said than done, I know).
As much as I like the game, people do tend to hype it up a lot more than they should, creating expectations in new players that are unachievable (no matter how good the game is), setting them up for disappointment when they might have actually enjoyed the game otherwise. Try and go into it thinking “I'll probably get at least $10 worth of enjoyment out of this game” rather than “this game will change my life”. That’s what I did at least.

Gameplay is sort of similar to older RPGs.
When you're not in combat, you're in a top down perspective walking around and exploring the world (maybe not as much exploring as other RPGs as it's fairly linear by comparison, though I felt that helped give it a little more focused, and there are a fair few secrets to find anyways) and you'll occasionally run into random encounters as you’re walking around.
When you're in combat it takes a sort of turn based approach. On your turn you can attack, use an item, perform an action which can affect the enemy’s stats or disposition towards you (usually the latter), or run away/let the enemy run away. On the enemy’s turn the game plays more like a bullet hell shooter (though not quite as hellish. Bullet hell lite perhaps?) where you have to doge their attacks and patterns (which are unique to each enemy, and the patterns are combined if there are multiple enemies) for a period of time before their turn ends.
I’ve never been a fan of your standard turn based combat (I never got into games like Final Fantasy because of it) so the bullet hell twist on the combat certainly helped in my enjoyment. I would have been much less likely to play the game otherwise (despite the game’s other merits).

The gameplay is basically a "Hell shooter" Which each battle being slightly different and some are more unique than the other, the game's entire focus is on the outstanding story and different gameplay.

got through with the game, as for actively playing this game, it's extremely fun with major more than "it's just a game" 4th wall breakers. It apparently has randomized easter eggs too. So it's about replayability, but I'd call the game more of an interactive movie most of the time.

However, if you decide to get the game...
whatever... you do...
do not play this game fully like a standard RPG. You will hate your life... just don't do it. You can, but you really don't have to, and you will really... yea... that's all I can say without really spoiling the game...
Just be good if you get to the game, OK?

truthfully, after playing it, the game, is worth that much really. The memory, if you like these types of games, can be worth much more.
