Genocide Route- Heart Lokcet or Apron?

So I've done a Geno run before and recently I've been curious about whether using the stained Apron or the heart shaped locket will effect how much damage Sans' Karmic Retribution affects you? Does it make any difference?

You can't get the Stained Apron in the Genocide route.

Really? Are you sure you arent thinking of Temmie armour?

I'm sure. The place where you find the Stained Apron is blocked by a force-field in the Genocide route.

The Karmic Retribution isn't affected. The the Heart-Shaped Locket isn't in Genocide.

It's been a while since I did Genocide. I forgot in Genocide, it's technicaly just 'The Locket'

Burnt pan is only obtainable gear that has any benfit in that fight.

He dies in one clean hit (so weapon damage doesn't matter)
His attacks ignore def (most armor)
His attacks ignore iframes (Notebook, glasses, unobtainable Temy)
Temy and Apron (hp regen) are unavailable in Geno.

Weapon: Pan > eveything = Stick
Armor: everything = bandage
