Sans vs Flowey?
Is it true that Sans and Flowey at some point had a fight but Sans always won?

Yeah. Didn't you hear what he said if you do a Near Genocide but reset? "Don't let him find out ANYTHING about you!"

If you beat Omega Flowey enough times in the Neutral Run, Flowey will call Sans that "Smiley Trashbag" and says:

DON'T. Let his brother. Find out ANYTHING about you. He'll... well... Let's just say.
He's caused me more than my fair share of resets.

So that's probably an indication that Sans might have found out about Flowey's 'No Mercy' and killed him so many times that Flow ran out of resets. My theory.

it was only frisk's coming that stopped flowey from being able to reset.
