Can't start a new game

So i let a friend use my computer for a while and he played Undertale every now and then, and i decided to buy it for myself. But because he played on my computer, whenever i start Undertale, it only lets me continue playing his save, or start a "new" game. He has his own computer now, but i cant figure out how to delete his game to start a fresh one. Ive checked on forums and watched videos and i cant find anything that works. Help me!!

that was one of the first things i tried, but it just starts a new game with his previous save in mind. when i go to meet Flowey he asks why i make him introduce himself when i already know who he is, but if it was a brand new game, he'd just show me how to play the game

OP, if I recall correctly, go to appdata/local/undertale, and delete file0,file8,file9 and undertale.ini, and you're good to go.

(I could be wrong and instead of "file" it could be "save" in the file's name)
