I wouldn't exactly call it a "necro" thread if this was only some days back.It's an obvious necro post if the thread was inactive for 3 months and someone just decides to post on it.

If a thread was inactive for more than a week then I doubt that it will get active after a month.

So week is enough for a thread to be necroed.
And this thread was inactive for almost 2 weeks.

Who cares how long a thread is inactive. I had the similar thought about Snowden almost 9 years later and discovered others thought the same.


I hope you have learned to live your life in a manner that cares less about the arbitrary timeframe in which it is or is not acceptable to reply to a comment on a niche forum thread.
