Does the Ferry NPC in waterfall appear in Genocide?

You know that ferry guy who gives you 3 gold for stepping on his face? Does he appear in genocide?

No. You are supposed to go on a straight path with no reason to turn and go back.

Why would you need to go back to Snowdin or Waterfall in Genocide?

The 3 gold ferry guy doesn't appear in the Genocide route. The riverman/riverwoman, on the other hand, does appear after you reach Hotland.

Just found out he doesn't, plus you can't even get to the area of waterfall after the little raft platform during the genocide run after undyne chops the bridge.

I just realized from all this waterfall talk, I never read the wall signs about the war between humans and monsters when going back through the Underground, or during Genocide. Does anything change, I wonder.
