Does Sparing Glyde abort Genocide?

Sparing Bosses and Minibosses aborts genocide. Glyde is an optional miniboss. Does sparing him abort genocide? (Though you can't fight the other optional boss So Sorry, Because you can't go to second floor in hotland in genocide ) Since killing him (as well as So Sorry ) aborts pacifist and that he also adds to the kill counter.

Thing is though is that you can still spare some regular enemies and still be on genocide. Bosses and Minibosses HAVE to be murdered or else you'll abort the route (The save points go back to their normal text, filling you with determination). Since Glyde is an optional miniboss, I'm wondering if you have to kill him if you decide to fight him or else you abort genocide if you spare him.

You need to kill him, i think, well, i think you need to kill him becouse he count as a enemy that you need to kill, well, i dont know exactly, but i think you need to kill him

You don't need to kill Glyde, I totally skipped him because he takes so long to spawn. I'm trying to spare him in my pacifist run and see if he gets any mentions in the cast. But for genocide, he is ideal to kill, he gives you the highest amount of EXP in Snowdin, I only know this because several guides focus on only killing the strongest monsters, for example run from froggits and vegetoids but kill Looxs, only kill Glydes, stuff like that. And that difference of 1 lv from 10 to 11 can really help on Undyne the Undying. But I made it through fine without him.
