Is your refrigerator running?

Okay, I got a phone call supposedly from Sans saying: "Is your refrigerator running?" with the option of yes or no... I said yes the first time and in response Sans said he would bring the "brewskis over". The second time however, he replied: "Oh..I'll send someone over to fix it ect ect (I can't remember)"... Is that normal? I haven't seen it in any other playthroughs... (Also, I don't have the steam version of undertale if that matters... :D)

its a random FUN value, i think it means youre going to get some sort of weird gray NPC on that playthrough

ye, i got wrong number song on a diffrent playthough, too "oh its the wrong number, the wrong number song, we're very very sorry that we got it wrong!~" lol

It's one of the "fun" events. Every time you start a new run of the game it sets a variable in the save file called "fun" to a random number between 0 and 100. Depending on the value of that number, or if it's higher or lower than certain thresholds, different easter egg/secret events can occur. Most notably, these events are how you find out about Dr. Gaster.

The "grey NPCs and Gaster" are very rare to get without manually setting the "fun" value yourself. This is because not only do you have to have a specific number for each and every one of them, but even if you do have the correct fun value, they still only have a small chance to appear.

No, in fact it means you definitely won't get any of them. Fun value events don't overlap.
