I've got a friend (Fyresale, you should totally check out his stuff) who's used FLS for years. I'd say you should try to use that. Though, like with any content creator worth their salt, there's going to be absolutely ZERO chance you'll be making music within days, or weeks as being a first-timer. You'll possibly make sixteen projects (or revisions) before you finally make one you're comfortable with showing to the public.

I'd suggest starting with something small first, though. Free programs (as FLS, if I recall, is 100$?) like Mario Paint, even. I'm just starting to get into pixel art (I posted my first ever attempt in my Artwork), and I have a loooooooong ways before I reach a reasonable level of skill, hehe.

It'll take time, but you'll get there.
