Yes, Chara was the first fallen human, who died like a hundred years ago or so before the game starts.
At the end of Genocide you see Chara because they take over Frisk. It is said that, when Chara died, they became a spirit, and that when Frisk falls, Chara somehow connects with Frisk, and that with each number you earn (G, EXP, LV) you give power to that demonic child (why is it demonic? or, is it really demonic? that's a long story for another post) and at the end of Genocide, Chara has enough power to take control over Frisk. My theory, tho, is that you really do control Chara's body in the game, and that what we call "Frisk" and "Chara" are just two different personalities in the same body. But the reason Chara takes over would be the same.
About Sans: He doesn't really remember the past resets, even if most people believe so. But he somehow knows that you can control them, and when you do it. It is said that he was a scientist and worked with W.D. Gaster. Again, that's a whole other matter for a different post...
ok thanks you very much! i think i actually understand it all now :)
The mother was deformed and she wanted to see her son again, the father felt bad for himself making his son run away from home and calling himself a terriable father, and the son just wanted someone to laugh at his jokes for once. Heckling is a very brutal ACT and it caused Snowy to run away crying. It's very sad to do that to somebody. Laughing and/or heckling his mother just scares me, because it was Chara doing it to her, not Frisk. Chara thought that Frisk was doing the ACTs to her, but Chara mistaken Frisk doing it, even thou Frisk was doing nothing. I hate that everyone cries at every sad moment to Asriel, leaving and killing Toriel, and being mean and killing Papyrus. They're my least favorite sad moments, because their overrated.
