Then, Toby flipped the tables, and made the villian a hero (in a way). You wanted to save him, because that's what you have been doing on that route, sparing people making friends along the way. But, there is one person you can't save, a person so screwed over by fate, and forced to basically suffer in an internal Hell all alone in the underground. Just made you feel empathy for the character, that he would never see his family or friends again, that he would just be all alone, not even as himself, but as something worse then a true monster.
Either that, or I am a near-heartless person. :/
I actually don't recall Snowdrake's mother that well... I do feel like I remember someone's mom, though, in one of the amalgamates.
And I think I would. If I recall correctly, the snow monsters that you fight are all just kids.
