Is this game meant to be so bloody difficult?

I've played Bullet Hell games and I consider myself to be pretty good at them but this game is next level. Its black and white which makes all the flying things really difficult to see without spazzing out my eyes, and you only get a tiny box to fight in thats not even the full screen. I've found the only way to win encounters is to blow all my money on healing items since you only ever get 20 hp. Why is it so hard?

1. you actually can get more than 20 HP, but to do that you have to kill some monsters.

2. it's not really that hard once you get used to it, but if you really think this is hard, I wouldn't suggest doing the Genocide run, since it includes the 2 hardest bosses in the game.

I thought the difficulty progression was well-designed, but I guess it's probably just me.

I find Bullet Hell games to be much harder than UT.

Dark Souls is easy, i've beat all of them time and time again. Which is probably the only reason I have the patience to keep playing this game.. but I kinda just expected an easy going narrative adventure. Not a brutal bullet hell.

I couldn't bring myself to kill everyone in this game anyways. :c

that's fine. there are multiple people who have attempted it, but they just didn't want to hurt Papyrus, so they abandoned the genocide. that skeleton has ended so many genocide runs. and his brother has ended many more

I bet. Papyrus is such a likeable, and pitiful guy. Most of the characters are really likeable, even relateable to some extent.

honestly , i played only touhou 8 up to hard difficulty before ,and generally , the only boss that actually is hard is asgore because hes less about bullet dodging , and more about pattern dodging

the rest are easy

honestly is funny atleast once watching someone having problem with difficulty but not on undyine undying but somewhere else
