"But it refused" in Sans' fight

Hi guys, So I'm having this weird glitch when fighting Sans:
I was fighting him and died, but when my soul split in two halves they just came back together like the "But it refused" when you perish in Asriel's fight, with the only exception that the actual "But it refused" text/writing did not show up. Then the screen just turned white in a fading effect and...the battle started again. Sans said his beginning lines again, like "It's a beatiful day outside" etc. and started his attack pattern from the top.
When the fight started again, the items I had used in the previous attempt would still be missing and if I still had any amount of pink HP's (don't know what they're called) I would start off without that amount of HP from my health bar. (Example: if I had lost with 6 pink HP remaining I would start off with 86/92 HP)

it was impossible to lose or quit the battle, unless I closed the game (Even getting dunked on would not work and just make me start again)

Sorry for my bad english.

NOTE: I tried closing the game multiple times, and when I re-opened it and fought Sans again the glitch would still be there, but in the beginning dialogue Sans would actually count all my extra deaths.
Also another glitch happened. Basically my pink HP would take up my whole HP bar when left with just one actual health point, even though it wouldn't kill me. Also, the reset button is now named "true reset"

Is my game just going crazy or what?

Unless you modified your game You dirty hacker I have no idea what caused that or how to fix it.

Did you download this UnderTale from a link off the internet or purchase it legit?


Unless you can just beat Sans without using Healing Items, the only other option seems to be erasing / moving UnderTale's save data, but just do that as a last resort if you can help it.

I didn't use any cheats and I bought the game on Steam, basically everything should be normal. I just found this really strange and posted it on here, even though it doesn't really bother me that much because if I quit the game I just get my items back. Thanks for commenting though!

Don't know what is happening, probably a Glitch.

Also, the "Pinks" are called KRs, or Karmas.

EDIT (This is getting awkward): I closed Undertale again and I could still hear Sans' "voice" and the birds singing....weird

EDIT (The day later): I opnened Undertale again and it's still going, even my friends are going crazy over this and we're starting to think this was actually somehow supposed to be in the game but had a really low chance of happening or something. Can someone explain how a glitch like this could happen?
Also, now the "Reset" button is named "True reset", even though I have not finished my run yet...weird again.

Is my game just going crazy or what?

My theory.
you didin't own a pirated version of undertale, let's pretend you own one.
There is an anti-piracy thing to detect if you are using an pirated copy.
Things like these will occur.
