how to ACTUALLY reset my game?

I finished genocide, I'd like to play the game again without the so called 'soulless' run.
I've tried several guides online to reset the game, but every time when I open it, it still has the wind. Please help.
I'm on Windows.

This isn't an issue it is part of the game, what you have to do is wait for 10 minutes (i think it is) and then you get a message spoken to you by CHARA you answer the question (yes or no) if you displease her then you have to wait again 10 minutes if you answer correctly this time she will see how determined you are to get the world back so she'll reset the game for you, however there will be some hidden references to what you have done, nothing is ever forgotten in this game.

A copy of system_information_962 is created in your Steam userdata, this is in a separate location from the game’s save data.

You can try going offline on Steam and then deleting all the save data in the Undertale folder, and also deleting the copy of 962 in userdata.

Then open the game while still offline and save at the first save point before going back online. When going online you may get a cloud sync error message with Undertale, don’t worry about it, you actually want it to get desynced.

Guys, OP wants to know how to remove the soulless endings through file editing. They clearly already know about the 10 minute wait.

There is a guide specifically for this somewhere in these steam guides. Search them and im sure you will find a solution for reverting to pre genocide.
