Undertale

Undertale

Sans' Powers? (UNDERTALE)
So, we all know a certain chub skel who kills us over and over in the genocide run. But, how did he get his powers? (In case you fogot: levitation, time manipulation, 'shortcuts', gaster blasters)

We aready know that his eye when using levitation flashes blue and yellow; inidcating the two colored human souls: Justice and Patience.

It's just so unexpected, is all I'm saying. He only has 1 HP and 1 ATK, yet he does so much damage! (He really does only do 1 dm, but there are no invincibility frames.) It's not determination, he'd melt. Even if it was determination, his stats would've improved. Maybe he absorbed a human soul, or... IDK. Let me know your side of the argument.

But really, Sans just uses shenanigans from Gaster´s tech.

Why is it that so many peopel go, "But really," which implies that their next statement will be a fact, and then go on t ostate their opinion?
Probably because it's really simple to them so they think it would be obvious to everyone, even if they don't agree.

But really, opinions are now facts, and should be treated as such otherwise you're going to be executed.

To many opinions may cause many false claim. It may seem like what really happen. But does not mean completely true. Gaster look nothing like a skeleten to me.

You mean MysteryMan. Gaster =/= Mysteryman. That is a common misconception that I always hear. Gaster is definitely a skeleton, the wing dings font he is named after suggests so. But Mysteryman =/= Gaster. It is more probable it's the *redacted* sprite, seeing how redacted is written in wingdings.

And before you tell me that merch isn't canon, consider this: If gaster wasn't MysteryMan, why would Toby make a tarot card of him as MysteryMan?

I wouldn't call it a good reason to think Gaster a skeleten base off from name. You know that any one can choose any name they want right.

Toby... didn't make the tarot card. A guy on *shiver* Tumblr named Dogbomber did. They were just fanart of tarot cards months before Toby and Fangamer decided to have them as actual merch.

So Toby had no input whether or not to have Gaster as Mystery Man. If Toby made them himself, there wouldn't be Gaster. You could say that the fact that Toby approved it means that it's canon, but Gaster was one design out of like 18 at the time. Toby Fox just liked the look of them. And finally, it isn't canon. I know that's a cop out answer, but at the end of the day this discussion doesn't matter because none of the merch is canon, out of Toby's own tweets.

Give me proof that it's fan made.

Here's the guy's Tumblr:

"Of course, this is just my personal interpretation of how each character fits into the Major Arcana"
"As of this time there aren’t any plans to sell these as prints or actual cards. Hopefully Toby Fox will give me his blessing to have these as proper Undertale Merch!"

Oh.

But either way, none of the possible gaster sprites look even remotly skeleton like.

Yeah, but there's a strong possibility for him to be so, because of his name. But at the same time, Gaster as a whole is a big troll from Toby, so it could be a gecko or something and just have a font name as yet another troll.

As far I see about Gaster name. Wingdings basicly a language. Gaster name got some to do with introspective, prophetic, philosophical, soul searching, bold, independent, inquisitive and interested in research. Kinda think of it. It got nothing to do with skeleton.

The sheer "cringe" and 10 year old fangirls keeps him going.

everyone ever thought if the WD in WD gaster meant MORE than wing dings? for all we know, it could be "World Destroyer" gaster, and by "fell into his creation" the G follower meant "got incinerated by hyper death star beam" (like a double meaning)

No. Wingdings is a stupid font on Microsoft word, just like Comic Sans and Papyrus. It definitely alludes to a skeleton. If you don't at least acknowledge that, then you're ignorant.
