It certainly makes me feel sad because of the context it was used in.

I wish a shortened version was used in the actual OST, since the length of the piece I feel starts to kill the emotion after a while.

That is easily my favorite song from the track. I never feel an emotion loss.

I see. I think that Undertale 071 is actually one of the saddest. I was debating over whether to put it or Memory down as the saddest.

I always considered An Ending to be Bittersweet rather than sad. Though the extration of the song during Undyne's Death is just downright depressing.

An Ending, any others don´t come close. Waterfall has emotion, but is more... despair.

Yup. While a lot of Waterfall was still pretty goofy, things were also far more serious with the backstory. Pretty depressing reading about how monsters were royally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over...
