Undertale - is it worth to buy after watching spoilers?
I am a fan of simulation games. Around 70% of my library are simulators or games pretending to be simulators, but in the last time I want to try something other than just simulators. The game I wanted to try was Undertale. The worst part of it is that I discovered this game thanks to Youtube, the place where I discovered most of products I have in my game library. And of course Undertale+YouTube=Spoilers. I watched the Pacifist ending and 50% of genocide run.
So the question for you: Is Undertale worth to buy after watching spoilers? I am addressing this mostly to people who watched spoilers before buying Undertale.
When you will reply, I also want you to notice that I live in country where 1 Euro is 4x more in my country. It's good that the price of Undertale in my country is a bit lowered.

I also got a few spoilers about this game from youtube (and these forums actually), and it was still one of the greatest experiences I ever consumed.
Granted, I only got like 2 things spoiled Flowey's true identity and the final boss of the genocide route, and this game is absolutely best experienced blind, so you are correct to ask this.

Given how much you've seen, the Pacifist ending and 50% of genocide, I think there's still plenty to enjoy fresh.
I say yes, get it and play it regardless of what you saw.

Just, try to avoid any more spoilers. Believe me, it's for the best.

Agreed! There's a lot to experiment with in neutral runs as well, and I was still discovering some neat touches several playthroughs in.

And if you know little-to-nothing about the second half of the genocide route, then I'd say that that's still very much worth pursuing if you can bring yourself to go through with it... It's much more impactful if you're doing it yourself, since you can't dissociate yourself from it.

If you look up any game on YouTube, you're going to find spoilers. Growing up as a Nintendo fan, I've seen some channels that had the guts to put images of final bosses on their thumbnails. The ones where you're not supposed to even know what they look like when playing the games for the first time.

That being said, I don't believe watching spoilers makes trying out a game for yourself worthless. What matters the most is if you still enjoy playing the game yourself. There are some games where I have looked up on YouTube first before playing them myself and in the end, I still had fun despite already seeing the full game from watching videos. Although at this point, this is me I'm talking about; It may not apply to everybody else.
