How do I unlock the True Pacifist
Hi, I was really curious because i want to do a true pacifist. Basically I completed a neutral run a while back where i killed some and spared some but no specific order. I unfortunatly deleted that save becuase I wanted to start a true pacifist but now im worried that i wont be able to do it. Anyone know if i can or what Ihave to do to get that route as an option.

Thanks.

You can still do it. In fact the game expects you to reset after doing such a thing. As long as no one dies within a single playthrough you're fine.

Don’t I have to spare flowey in the neutral run to unlock it?

Yeah. You should have the chance to do that again

You don’t. Reloading a save is like going back in time, so anything you did after that save point is undone. So Flowey and Asgore are both alive again when you reload. The only thing killing Flowey does is prevent you from getting his hint on how to get the Pacifist Ending, but you can still get the ending even without it.

Not unless they actually deleted the save data. Normally you can’t fight Flowey again until you complete either Pacifist or Genocide. If you go for neutral again he just kills Asgore and skips you straight to the ending. It doesn’t matter though, as sparing Flowey isn’t needed for the Pacifist ending.

All you need to do is not kill any monsters (keep LV 1, Exp 0), do the “dates” with Papyrus, Undyne, and Alphys, and then go through the True Lab. What’s tricky is that the Alphys date can’t be done until Photoshop Flowey has been defeated. So you have to get the neutral ending first.

If you don’t kill any monsters on your first run (excluding Asgore and Flowey) you can reload the save after the neutral ending, then backtrack to do the dates and True Lab. So in this way it is possible to do pacifist in a single run.

If you don’t kill any monsters on a second or later run, all the “dates” become available once the elevator to New Home opens after sparing Mettaton EX. You can somewhat skip New Home, though you will still walk through an empty version of it after going through the True Lab.

The dates have to be done in order. Papyrus -> Undyne -> Alphys
You must also give Undyne the glass of water when you first reach Hotland, otherwise her and Alphys’s dates will be locked.

I deleted it but killed photoshop flowey last run. I’ve started a new run and have dated papyrus and hung out with undyne. So if I understand correctly, I can do true pacifist this run. Could you explain how to do the date with alphys and true lab, I didn’t quite get that. Thanks so much for your response

And as long as you didn't do the Genocide route, you'll get the True Pacifist Ending

If you need to refight Photoshop Flowey, you just open the game again after the neutral ending and continue your save. Instead of going to fight Asgore, you backtrack towards MTT Resort. Since you’ve already done Undyne’s date, you should get a call from her just before you enter the resort from the core side. She’ll ask you to pick up a letter from her in Snowdin and deliver it to Alphys’s lab.

1: kill nothing and beat the game. 2: load up the game after it closes it self. 3: exit the core and if done right a phone call from undyne or alphys will be received that if i remember right will give further instructions.
