how do you get a stick

im not killing anybody but for the dog that attacks when u move (forgot the name) you need a stick too make his name yellow but i dont get a stick and it makes it hard for me too do it im tryna get the last ending i need too get and that just ruins it.

You have the stick equipped at the beginning of the game. Equipping a different weapon will move the stick to your inventory.

The stick is your starting weapon and becomes a usable item once you equip a different weapon. It acts as a means of sparing dog type monsters faster, and can only be used once.

However I don’t think the stick gives you the yellow name in the credits for Doggo or any of the dogs, as it’s a means of sparing them faster. Getting the yellow name in the credits for the dogs all involve petting them.

You can spare Doggo by not moving during his attack and then petting him.

Likewise you don’t need to buy an item from the spider bake sale to spare Muffet. Using one of the items during her battle just lets you spare her immediately instead of needing to survive the whole fight.
