Does Mettaton (and maybe Alphys) know about Frisk's powers?

I've seen some suspicious points in the game where Mettaton seems to reference to your ability to SAVE and LOAD. In the musical scene, one of the lyrics he sings is "And then you'll die a lot." Also if you play the game after a neutral run or if you somehow die without saving right before that scene, he says that you look bored and discretely asks if you want to skip through the whole thing. There's some other stuff that I don't quite remember but I've been thinking this for a while. What do you guys think?

Interesting point... alphys did study humans and their determination, but why would she pass it down to an entertainer robot?

Very interesting. To play devils advocate, i would say maybe "dying a lot" means dying once, as he is struggling to rhyme. Also, there are other characters who will let you skip their dialogue if you already met them once.

But still, interesting idea.

Well the robot is her friend. Maybe she told her stuff. I find it unlikely though since alphys made entries in the true lab talking about making her new body

The other characters let you do that because Frisk prematurely knows to do something, not because they let you. For example, you can skip the monologue in the mettaton boss fight by tricking her into turning around right off the bat. That has nothing to do with her helping.

Anyway, I think it's more likely that mettaton just could tell frisk was bored, mainly since he doesn't have anything to do with you skipping his monologue

Actually that is by definition wrong. What you actually mean is, Mettaton has no sex. (Gender is what someone refers to themselves by, such as someone who's gender is Male, usually goes by He/Him. Sometimes they go by She or they, or all 3! The combinations are endless. Sex is based on someones genitals. There is only 2 sexes, while there is an infinite amount of genders. Some genders make more sense than others, such as clover gender, which I will die of laughter if someone actually has that.)

Although I agree 100% with the sentiment of this post and feel everything else is spot on I feel I have to point out that on the subject of genitalia intersex people exist, and I myself have made the mistake of not acknowledging them in the past. I'm honestly not trying to be aggressive here: Since you seem to have the right ideas on everything else gender related I thought you might like to know / be reminded.

Also as a less important point*, but one I find a fun fact: "sex" and "genitalia" don't always correspond either in humans: chromosomes are a lot more complicated than high school science portrays, and there's a lot more variation than you'd think. In fact everything is more complicated than high school curriculums portray; they just give you the general gist of things. And with non humans... well, just look up mushroom sexual characteristics. They're wild.

Thanks. I actually was gonna acknowledge intersex people, but I didn't want to open up another can of worms. Also, I know not everything is as simple as Y chromosomes and XY chromosomes. It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ complex and painful.
