Seeing as you kinda have to do something drastic just to reset from a genocide run.
Personally doing the genocide run would make me feel like sit so i avoid it.
It's absolutely intended for Genocide to be the very last thing you see from the game, if you ever see it at all, having not heeded the warning.
No, because I feel the Pacifist runs parallel to your first run...it makes a lot more sense after the neutral run to kill no one in the second run and see all the stuff you missed, including the "true ending." There are also extra plot revelations in Pacifist that will be implied on Genocide so it's better if you know that stuff.
If you do genocide run first you lock yourself out of a "true" true pacifist ending.
People say this all the time and it's overblown. The Pacifist ending after Genocide is basically identical to the normal one except a character makes an different expression at the end. It's not a different ending at all. It's the same one with a few pixels changed.
It's absolutely intended for Genocide to be the very last thing you see from the game,
I felt the same. I think Genocide assumes you know the full lore of the game that you learn on the Pacifist run. Plus the Genocide final boss is a nice "ultimate end" to the three runs.
Should i just not do genocide at all?
You should absolutely do Genocide. For one, it's a very quick run through the game even with you farming kills and it has a completely different feel from the other runs. And getting through it is a legit challenge with some sweet bossfights...easily the best ones in the game.
While the change is small, the implications behind it are gigantic, so i undestand why most consider the true pacifist ending locked after doing the Genocide run.
