SPOILERS: Thoughts on Asriel... Just a general thing.
Every time you die, your grip on this world slips away.
Every time you die, your friends forget you a little more.
Your life will end here, in a world where no one remembers you...

You can speak to him after the battle if you go back to the VERY first room before going to the surface.

Okay, so to SAVE Asriel you have to reach out to his SOUL... But he doesn't have his own SOUL, it is just everyone elses inside of him, so I wonder if he would still be able to be SAVED if he simply got his own SOUL back, and there were not all of the monsters that you befriended inside of him...

If Asriel had his own SOUL he wouldn't have become corrupted to begin with.

He says this, but nothing like this ever actually happens to you in the game. The only thing close is some of the stuff dealing with the Gaster followers, especially Goner Kid.

I just liked that quote.

What I mean is that, instead of taking everyone elses SOUL, he would regain his own, essentially I think that he would act the same by fighting you and stuff... Because no matter what he still just wants to play with Chara forever. But I'm not sure if he would be able to come to his senses or not without the SOULs of everyone else insode him...

He would still begin to feel sympathy again, which is what makes him stop being evil. All Frisk would have to do is make them realize they aren't Chara.

However, if instead Asriel came back using 7 human Souls, he would not regain his compassion as human souls do not give off these traits like monster souls. So with 7 human souls he would not have been defeated.

I just feel like the other souls are the gateway into him re-opening his feelings of compassion and sympathy.

Anyone else feel like Memory and His Theme should swap names? When you first hear Memory in waterfall, its not much of a memory, but more of a theme. Same thing for when it plays for the second time in True Pacifist, after you finally "defeat" Asriel, this song plays. And when it plays here, it is still not much of a memory related thing, the only part of it that is like a memory related thing is when Asriel says "Chara has been gone for a long time". When His Theme plays, it shows a memory of Asriel first meeting the first fallen child, Chara, and when Chara became apart of Asriel's family. But then again, the second time Memory plays in Neutral, Asgore says that he remembers when Toriel, Asriel, Chara, and himself were a complete family. So does anyone else think Memory and His Theme should swap names? Or am I the only one who thinks that?

I actually have a sort of theory about this. You know how in the MTT resort there's the monster-human memorial fountain created to sort of honor Chara's relationship with the Dreemurr's, but it has the statue of Mettaton just thrown on it? I think that the statue in Waterfall was the original statue that was in the resort, and Mettaton just threw it in the dump. Then Undyne found it and created the piano puzzle.

Seems legit. Although I never knew that the fountain was a memorial to it. I have never done True Pacifist bc every single time I reset my game and started over, I always did something wrong. This time, I acidentally hit Mettaton EX. I decided to just get Neutral ending then reset, but now i am stuck on Omega Flowey. I even once asked a magic 8 ball if I would ever defeat Omega Flowey. It said no. Thats why I just want he rest of the game to be spoiled for me, which is how I learned bout undertale. The first game video I watched about it was the hopes and dreams battle.
